The LR7 is a passive-filtered, micro line-array module, featuring a single 6.5” woofer and the RBN401 pro-ribbon driver. Available with two dispersion choices, 120° x 15° (HxV), or 90° x 15° (HxV), the LR7 offers unparalleled precise projection control and throw in small applications. The micro-sized design, combined with the weight-saving all Neodymium drivers, leads to a weight of just 8kg / 17.6lb. making the system very easy to handle.

The FC7/3 trolley carries three pcs. of LR7; By placing the FC7 trolleys behind each other and linking the hinges of the LR7, a complete "array-train" is assembled on the ground. By lifting the mounted grid, the array comes in upright position; When in "folded position", the correct angles can be set on the LR7 modules. Then the array can be hoisted with correct array-splays to the desired height. Through the FC7, the LR7 mounting is done without any weight lifting. There’s a choice of the economical FC7, carrying 6 units, or the versatile FC7/3, carrying 3 units.

The GRD7 is the flying bumper of the LR7 line-array modules and the LR7B line-array bass modules. The grid can be suspended from the central “single pick-point” bar with 1-ton shackle and supports the “Androgyn” LR7 flying system. It is fitted with a mounting platform for the Teqsas laser / inclinometer and comes with all quick release pins required (attached to the frame).

The FCGRD7 flightcase carries 2 pcs. of GRD7 grids.

The BRK5LR7 swivel yoke bracket that enables an array of 5 units LR7 to be stacked on a tripod stand, or an array of 7 units LR7 to be flown from a truss clamp or TV spigot.

In either flown or stacked application, the BRK5LR7 maintains full (line-) array functionality!

The LR7B is a high-output bass system, consisting of a single Neodymium long-excursion 12” woofer in double-tuned band-pass configuration. It delivers high quality, high output bass response from a very compact and weight efficient package. The special band-pass configuration offers LR7-matched bass response in full-space (flown) and increased efficiency in half-space (stacked) applications. LR7B was designed to be used with LR7, in a ratio of 1 unit LR7B on 3 units LR7; For more “heavy” applications, this ratio may be 2:1. The easy and accurate mounting system, makes the system quick to set-up in combination with the LR7 line-array module, both in stacked as well as flown configurations.

The FC2LR7B case carries two pcs. of LR7B; The FC2LR7B is completely compatible with the FC7 and FC7/3, thus follows the same procedure as with the LR7. A complete "array-train" including LR7B’s can be assembled on the ground.

The LR7 is powered and controlled by the ALC2 controller-amplifier. The ALC offers, in combination with the front-accessible SDP-circuit, dedicated system drive in terms of protection, filtering and power optimizing. There is a choice of analogue or digital processing: Analogue SDP or digital DDP processing. The SDP processing has non-adjustable factory settings, which is a “tamper-free”, cost-effective processing solution for non-changing system configurations; The DDP processing offers complete flexibility for perfect system response in any situation, with any system configuration.
(on board: a complete library of Alcons systems and system configurations, with array length compensation and stack/fly adjustment, a.o.).

The ALC’s Signal Integrity Sensing (SIS™) circuit, in combination with the SIS pre-wiring of the LR7, ensures complete cable/connector compensation between the LR7/LR7B and ALC resulting in tight and accurate mid and bass response (damping factor of 10.000 at the LR7’s transducer terminals). SIS also further reduces linear and non-linear distortion.
