		Randy Crawford touring Europe with Alcons December 27, 2006 “Feeling Good”, the latest album of Randy Crawford and Joe Sample marks a collaboration that goes back to the late seventies, when the band The Jazz Crusaders turned their name into “The Crusaders” and brought a record called “Streetlife”. With Styx Hooper on drums, Wilton Felder on saxophone and Joe Sample on keyboards, the vocal part on that famous record was performed by the then relatively unknown artist Veronica “Randy” Crawford, who was lead vocalist in a group that included bassist Bootsy Collins before touring as George Benson’s opening act in 1972 and following that, played with famous jazz artists like Julian “Cannonball” Adderly. read more »
