  The CCS8 is a 2-way passive full range loudspeaker, for cinema surround applications. Featuring an 8” high quality, reflex-loaded woofer with a coaxially mounted 1” compression-driver, the CCS8 delivers exceptional performance from a truly compact sized cabinet.
The typical characteristic time/response behaviour of the compression driver brings a diffuse imaging, ideal for medium/large scale surround reproduction.

The slanted baffle together with the co-axial speaker arrangement caters for a very smooth LF/HF blending, for both near and far located seats. The enclosure design provides for low profile wall mounting. SIS pre-wiring ensures complete cable/connector compensation between the speaker and amplifier. Typical applications for the CCS 8 are surround system for cinema or performing-arts theatres.

For full system performance, CCS8 can be used in combination with an ALC2 (or ALC4) amplified controller. Driven by the ALC, the CCS8 delivers maximum sound quality and output power with inaudible (power and excursion) protection (SDP circuit).
