The LR7 is a passive 2-way “micro-sized” line-array sound system, to be used as vertical array, either in stacked or flown configuration, for both portable and permanent installations.

Loaded with the RBN401 pro-ribbon driver on a “Morpher” lens (up to 94% frontal radiation), the system offers a very high throw-efficiency and projection control up to directly under the array, due to the pro-ribbon’s all-natural cylindrical (Isophasic) wavefront.

Its transient response and unusual high peak power handling (800W @ 200ms) cater for a perfect intelligibility from the lowest to the highest SPL with a 1:15 dynamic range, while offering maximum “gain-before-feedback”.

The system features a consistent, patented horizontal dispersion with seamless coverage, available in 90° and 120° configuration.

The micro-compact size, combined with the weight-saving all-Neodymium drivers, makes the system very easy to handle in a wide variety of configurations; As stacked or flown line-array, or with 3 or 5 modules as “speaker-on-a-stick”; In applications where extended bass response is required, the LR7 can be combined with the LR7B line-array bass module and/or a stacked subwoofer system.

The Androgyn™ flying hardware enables an acoustically-symmetric left / right system, with the asymmetric LR7 module.

The LR7 is driven by the Sentinel amplified loudspeaker controller, optimizing the system’s response by LR7-specific drive processing and feedback for each array configuration, including presets for phase-matched low-frequency extensions.

The Signal Integrity Sensing™ pre-wiring ensures dynamic cable/connector compensation between the LR7 and ALC; This offers a 1:1, undistorted natural sound reproduction, regardless of cable length and amplifier impedance load (system damping factor 10.000).

Typical (short to medium throw) applications for the LR7 include as compact main system for performing arts theatre, A/V or corporate events where with exceptional sound reproduction is required, with minimal sightline obstruction.

The LR15/90 is a 2-way, “ultra-compact” format line-source sound system, combining the highest sound quality possible with high SPL capabilities and throw in a very compact form factor.

By implementing Alcons’ pro-ribbon technology for mid and high frequencies, a super-fast impulse response with up-to-90% less distortion is achieved. This enables the LR15 to offer a fully intuitive linear response, with perfect intelligibility and non-compressed identical tonal balance at any SPL.

The all-natural cylindrical wavefront of the multiple-patented RBN502rs 5” pro-ribbon transducer with 5” voice-coil and the symmetrical component configuration bring a natural, unique pattern control in both the vertical as well as the horizontal plane up to the highest frequencies.

The pro-ribbon’s power handling of 1100W and RMS-to-peak ratio of 1:15, caters for a superb intelligibility and throw with a dynamic headroom reserve, even under the highest outputs.

The LF-section consists of two next-gen 6.5” transducers; a perfect hybrid of a woofer and mid-bass driver featuring a 2-in. dual-coil motor structure with significantly-extended excursion. The woofers are loaded by FlowVent™ ports, providing optimised flow with minimal port compression while extending the usable LF response down to 53Hz.

The resulting super accurate low-mid and bass response with class-leading output under lowest distortion possible, is a perfect match with the pro-ribbon MHF.

The LR15 is driven by the Sentinel amplified loudspeaker controller, optimising the system’s response by specific VHIR™ drive processing and feedback for each array configuration, including presets for phase-matched low-frequency extensions.

The Signal Integrity Sensing™ pre-wiring ensures dynamic cable/connector compensation between the LR15 and ALC; This offers a 1:1, undistorted natural sound reproduction, regardless of cable length and amplifier impedance load (system damping factor 10.000).

The 3-point rigging and transport system enables angle-setting on the cabinets without lifting the array, resulting in safer and faster set-up with minimal handling and a WLL of 18 cabinets under 10:1 safety. The LR15 is available with a 90° (LR15/90) or 120° (LR15/120) horizontal dispersion.

Optimal deployment flexibility is guaranteed: The LR15B can be used as single subwoofer or in multiples; As end-fire or cardioid array; Together with LR15 or in separate sub-only arrays. All functionality is possible in stacked or flown configurations. The integrated stand mount adapter provides for easy top/sub combinations with any Alcons pro-ribbon system.

Rated for a high WorkingLoadLimit with 1:10 safety ratio, the versatile rigging system, with front and rear splaying possibility, enables straight or pre-curved flown (cardioid) arrays, to be flown besides or behind an LR15 array.

Array configurations can be simulated through the LR15 GLL in the Alcons Ribbon Calculator (ARC), Alcons’ high-resolution 3D simulation program.

Mobile (cardioid) stacks of up to 3 units can be transported through the PRRGLR15B pre-rig, including stack-specific softcover.

For full system performance, the LR15B is to be driven and controlled by the ALC amplified loudspeaker controller; Driven by the ALC, the LR15B delivers full operation flexibility, maximum sound quality and output power with long-term operation reliability.

The Signal Integrity Sensing™ pre-wiring ensures complete cable/connector compensation between the LR15B and ALC, significantly increasing response accuracy and reducing both linear and non-linear distortion to an absolute minimum, regardless of cable length and system impedance.

The LR18/90 is a 3-way, compact format line-array sound system, combining the highest sound quality possible with very high SPL capabilities and throw.

By implementing Alcons’ pro-ribbon technology for mid and high frequencies, a super-fast impulse response with up-to-90% less distortion is achieved. This enables the LR18/90 to offer a fully intuitive linear response, with perfect intelligibility and non-compressed identical tonal balance at any SPL.

The all-natural cylindrical wavefront of the multiple-patented, purpose-designed RBN702rs 7” pro-ribbon transducer and the acoustically and electronically symmetrical component configuration bring a unique pattern control in both the vertical as well as the horizontal plane, without any distortion-inducing horn constructions.
The patented 90-degree horizontal dispersion is maintained up to the highest frequencies.

The pro-ribbon’s power handling of 1500W and RMS-to-peak ratio of 1:15, caters for a superb intelligibility and throw with maximum dynamic headroom reserve.

The MF-section features a high-efficiency 6.5” midrange transducer with Neodymium motor-structure, coaxially mounted behind the HF driver in a horn-loaded configuration.

The LF section consist of 2 extended-excursion, reflex-loaded 8” woofers with oversized 3” voice-coil Neodymium motor-structure, surpassing the output of even larger drivers, while maintaining an unobtrusive face print.

The LR18/90 is driven by the Sentinel amplified loudspeaker controller, optimising the system’s response by LR18-specific drive processing and feedback for each array configuration, including presets for phase-matched low-frequency extensions.

The Signal Integrity Sensing™ pre-wiring ensures dynamic cable/connector compensation between the LR18/90 and ALC; This offers a 1:1, undistorted natural sound reproduction, regardless of cable length and amplifier impedance load (system damping factor 10.000).

The LR18 is available with a 90° (LR18/90) or 120° (LR18/120) horizontal dispersion; Both models come in a touring version or “i” installation version.

The rigging system enables angle-setting on the cabinets without lifting the array, resulting in safer and faster set-up with minimal handling and a WLL of 24 cabinets under 10:1 safety.

Array configurations can be simulated in the Alcons Ribbon Calculator (ARC), Alcons’ high-resolution 3D simulation program.
