Alcons Powers Dolby Atmos House at ADE 2025
Alcons Audio is proud to once again partner with Dolby during the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), taking place October 22–26. This year, the Dolby Atmos House, located in the iconic TOBACCO Theater (Nes 75–87, Amsterdam), was entirely powered by Alcons’ renowned pro-ribbon sound systems, supplied and supported by JUR.
Immersive Sound Meets Dance Culture
As part of ADE’s growing focus on spatial audio, the Dolby Atmos House hosted listening sessions, artist showcases, and creative discussions with some of today’s leading electronic music innovators. Artists including Armin van Buuren, Jeff Mills, Halina Rice, Don Diablo and AVALAN ROKSTON explored how Dolby Atmos enhances both music creation and live presentation.
Visitors also experienced the Dolby Atmos “Hangout” and Device Bar, where immersive playback and hands-on demos brought Dolby’s multidimensional sound technology to life.
Dolby Creator Lab and STMPD Studios Sessions
In parallel to the public Atmos House, Dolby’s Creator Lab program dived deeper into immersive production workflows. On Wednesday, October 22, Pacific (Westerpark) hosted a full day of workshops covering Dolby Atmos music creation and DAW setup.
On Thursday and Friday, the Creator Lab moved to STMPD Studios, where a dedicated Alcons M-series reference monitor system supported the Dolby Atmos studio sessions. The setup featured the MR10 as the main system and MR5 as surround speakers — showcasing Alcons’ recently introduced studio monitors in a fully immersive professional environment. System supply and technical support for all Dolby Atmos venues were coordinated by JUR, Alcons’ partner for event support.
Continuing Partnership in Immersive Excellence
The collaboration between Dolby and Alcons Audio underscores both companies’ shared commitment to innovation in immersive sound. Whether on stage, in the studio, or on the listening floor, Alcons’ pro-ribbon technology provides the natural clarity, dynamic range, and precision demanded by today’s most forward-thinking creators.
