ISE : Pro-Ribbon Immersive Experience Goes Next-Level

Alcons Audio exhibits at Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2024 with new products and the latest iteration of its Pro-Ribbon Immersive Experience, showcasing how its pro-ribbon systems deliver an identical high end experience across the pro-AV and residential/custom installation markets.

Exhibiting at Stand 7F440 in Hall 7, hot on the heels of the US introduction at the NAMM show the week before, ISE sees the European presentation of the M series, a three-model line-up of reference monitors which raises the benchmark in terms of dynamic capabilities, depth-of-field, imaging and audio resolution.

The M series is designed for both near- and midfield applications in the immersive studio environment and residential installations. Fulfilling Alcons’ ambition of delivering ‘one-reference: one experience’, the M series completes the company’s evolutionary audio solutions portfolio.

Alcons will also be launching a new addition to the CRMS series. The system has been developed with solid screens – such as LED panels – in mind. A pre-angled single box solution, its sleek, low profile design means it can be mounted above and beside the screen, either in-wall or on-wall. It is designed to deliver a new standard for ultra-low distortion, high output performance systems.

Sneak-previewed at the CEDIA expo in September last year, it can now be experienced at ISE as the left, center and right channels in the Alcons Pro-Ribbon Immersive Experience.

This year, the Pro-Ribbon Immersive Experience sees Alcons teaming up with Trinnov for processing, Sony for projection and DreamScreen for the projection screen.

It will feature a Trinnov DBA double bass array in a 12×12 configuration of Alcons’ QB242 and QB363 arrayable 12” bass columns, driven by Trinnov’s new WaveForming™ processing. These are complemented by sealed Alcons CRMS-LFE18 large format reference subwoofers, using cascaded bass management to optimize the combination for both impact and low frequency extension. Walter Fortmüller of Zenzaru Design and Optimization has further fine-tuned this 9.X.6 configuration which received already much acclaim and positive response at CEDIA 2023.

Visuals for the Pro-Ribbon Immersive Experience will see a state-of-the-art Sony VPL-GTZ380, 10000 lumens 4k laser projector, with fully bespoke video processing, complemented by the new DreamScreen UltraWeave Studio X1 screen. The screen combines improved video performance with exceptional low loss acoustic properties.

Also following its introduction at the NAMM show, the WR20 pro-ribbon stage monitor will be on show, completing Alcons Audio’s new pro-ribbon solutions for stage, studio and residential.

Hourly presentations of the Pro-Ribbon Immersive Experience throughout ISE 2024 will demonstrate why Alcons is the go-to brand for a unique immersive experience, in both professional and residential applications.
