Taking center stage will be the Director 6; The new amplified loudspeaker controller is the drive engine behind the Alcons pro-ribbon installation sound systems. The proprietary amplified loudspeaker controller offers 8-in/8-out, 192kHz AES3 digital inputs, full on-unit control and true audiophile-grade amp.stages of 750W @ 4 ohms each.
Also on display will be the QRP40 pro-ribbon point-source column with 8 5” woofers and the RBN1202 12” pro-ribbon driver; Paired with the QB363 arrayable triple 12” bass system, a slim profile stack system is formed, for applications where highest audiophile performance with increased projection control with an unobtrusive design appearance is required.
To experience the unique Alcons signature sound, the VR5 5” mini monitor with 2” pro-ribbon will be performing with a BF121 single 12” subwoofer. The same combination that was used at the Grammy-award winning Joni Mitchell recordings by Sean Quackenbusch and the same system that is on tour with Robert Scovill for Kenny Chesney.
