The Demo Room W230C at the Orange County Convention Center, will be the center-stage of a variety of events and demos. Special guest Robert Scovill, well-respected engineer for Rush, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, currently on tour with Kenny Chesney, will be on hand to talk about his experience with Alcons systems and his use of his Alcons portable reference monitor package for all his touring production work. Robert will be an integral part of the demo room schedule, explaining how the specific advantages of the pro-ribbon systems are his reference source in preparing for concerts and productions from small to large.
This year, Alcons has partnered with Flux Audio for the Pro-Ribbon Immersive Experience; Alcons evolutionary immersive system will be driven by the SPAT Revolution immersive audio software. Hugo Larin of FLUX technologies will be on hand to explain\ why Spat Revolution is an ideal platform to showcase alongside the Alcons systems, designed to facilitate a wide range of workflows from studio content development, all the way to real time live immersive delivery.

The hour-long presentation sessions will begin on Tuesday, June 13th at 2pm and 4pm and will continue, Wednesday June 14th to Friday June 16th. at 10a.m., 12p.m., 2p.m. and 4p.m.
Product highlights of the show will be two new pro-ribbon systems, which are making their US trade show debut and of which one will see its global introduction; The QRP40 larger-format pro-ribbon column with 8 5” woofers and the RBN1202 12” pro-ribbon driver sets a new benchmark in output and directivity control in passive point-source columns. The QRP40 will be paired with the recently introduced QB363 mkII arrayable triple 12” bass system, to form a slim profile stack system, for applications where highest audiophile performance with increased projection control needs to be combined with an unobtrusive design appearance.

A new pro-ribbon array system will see its Worldwide introduction at the show; This system forms the perfect synergy of transducer, acoustics, amplification, processing, connectivity and logistics technology. It will be part of the systems that can be auditioned in the demo room.

On the Alcons booth, the smaller brother of the QRP40, the QRP20 will be present for low-level demos, alongside a selection of all four acoustic formats of Alcons solutions – point-source, point source array, line source column and line array. In-depth technical presentations are available on-demand as well.
