Blackroom Finalist 2022 CEDIA EMEA Awards

The CEDIA awards recognize design and installation excellence: measuring projects against industry best practices and encouraging the highest standards in integrated home, home cinema, and media room project design and installation. Alongside these project winners, awards will also be presented to Trade Suppliers in recognition of product innovation, service and training support excellence.

The Project

“The main objective of building the Blackroom demo room was to create a place where we could show what a true high-performance home cinema is all about. A place where our clients can feel totally immersed in perfect sound and picture – experience true magic of cinema,” says Anton.

With this demo room Blackroom has the perfect way to show the clients what they are as a company and what they are capable of to deliver in their homes.

The demo room was designed to fit an Alcons system – something really new in terms of home cinema sound quality. Blackroom is an official representative of the Alcons Audio residential line of products in Russia. The showroom also includes only A-brands hardware and equipment: Trinnov for AV-processing, JVC and Stewart for the projection system, Lutron for lighting control etc.

The total area of the demo theater room is 30m2 with a technical room of 6m2. The Alcons equipment in the room consists of the following products:

Speakers:

• CRMSCompact – 3 pcs (LCR);
• CRMSC-SR – 4 pcs (Surr);
• CRMSC-SRHV/90 – 4 pcs (Wide, Top);
• CRMSC-SRIW/120 – 2 pcs (Top);
• CRMS-LFE18sl – 4 pcs (Subs).

Amplification:

• Sentinel3 – 4 pcs;
• Sentinel10 – 1 pcs.
