Pro-Ribbon Immersive Experience Great Success @ISE

After a one-year absence from the ISE show, Alcons Audio presented the much-anticipated return of the award-winning Pro-Ribbon Immersive Experience, leading to many “best of show” comments from visitors. The Pro-Ribbon Immersive Experience featured a Dolby Atmos 11.4.8 system; By utilizing the exact same transducer technologies throughout the system, a seamless immersive experience was obtained, with the crystal clear ultra-low distortion Alcons pro-ribbon signature sound.

This edition’s partners were StormAudio for residential processing, TiMax for professional processing, Sony for projection and DreamScreen for the screen technology, presented by Walter Fortmüller from Zenzaru.

From creation to performance; One reference, One experience 

The Pro-Ribbon Immersive Experience demonstrated the suitability of Alcons pro-ribbon solutions for both the residential, studio and professional audio markets:

For the residential market, Storm Audio’s ISP Evo, all-digital immersive processor is the perfect match for the (up-to) 192kHz AES3 inputs of Alcons Sentinel amplified loudspeaker controllers, with zero loss or added distortion from unnecessary A/D and D/A conversions.

For pro audio applications, the Alcons system was paired with the TiMax SoundHub spatial processor platform, delivering object-based, delay-matrix spatial mixing for high quality 3D immersive imaging with fully-enveloping soundscapes and moving sound effects.
