The Pro-Ribbon Immersive Experience @ CEDIA 2024
Early September sees Alcons Audio showcasing new products at the CEDIA Expo 2024 in Denver, Colorado, highlighting the excellence of the company’s systems for the high end home theater market. Taking place at Denver’s Colorado Convention Center from September 5 – 7, Alcons is exhibiting at Booth #SR5, where the company’s high end pro-ribbon systems can be heard in a dedicated sound room.
The company has regularly attracted ‘best of show’ feedback at the CEDIA show and the world launch of the new CRMS Q line source systems for home theater, post/mix and professional screening With the highly-anticipated launch of our new CRMS-Q line source system, alongside other exciting technology introductions, we feel this will be our strongest CEDIA presence to date.”room environments is sure to be a show highlight.

CRMSQ is a modular, two-way system which sets new benchmarks in sound quality, output and directivity control. Bringing Alcons’ renowned pro-ribbon line source technology from the pro audio live and install applications to the residential market, its main design goal was to create a compact system which delivers ultra-low distortion and high output performance for any size room, regardless of acoustics.
In response to extensive feedback, Alcons is also bringing new innovations in amplified loudspeaker management to CEDIA. With new power and channel density, extended processing and connectivity capabilities, while further improving sound quality, this technology provides another major step forward into the residential market.
Technically the studio and residential markets are closely related, so it makes sense for Alcons to also preview its new M Series ultra-definition reference monitors. These have made a few guest appearances at recent trade shows, prompting a very positive response from visitors.
By working with the company’s regular high end partners, Booth #SR5 will treat CEDIA visitors to a truly exceptional sound and visual experience. It will feature a full 9.x.6 Atmos system with StormAudio ISP Evo 32 AES/EBU processor, featuring the latest Dirac Live Active Room Treatment (ART) module and state-of-the-art StormAudio Expert Bass Management.
“CEDIA Expo is always special for us and we are really excited about this year’s show. Our pro-ribbon systems really push the boundaries of what listeners hear and, by showcasing them in a dedicated sound room, we provide a unique opportunity for visitors to experience the Alcons pro-ribbon difference, “ says David Rahn, North American sales manager at Alcons Audio USA.
“We are often told by those who have previewed our systems that they are the best sounding systems they have ever heard. With the highly-anticipated launch of our new CRMS-Q line source system, alongside other exciting technology introductions, we feel this will be our strongest CEDIA presence to date.”
Based on previous CEDIA Expos, the Alcons Audio demonstrations are sure to be very busy. It is recommended that anyone wishing to attend should contact the company or their local representative to book a time slot.
