Alcons Wins More Fans At CEDIA Expo 2019

Alcons Audio’s growing presence in the US home theater market received another boost in mid-September, as the annual CEDIA Expo again hosted the award-winning Alcons Pro-Ribbon Immersive Experience. With CEDIA returning to Denver for the first time in five years, a new array of audiophiles was able to hear how Alcons’ pro-ribbon technology makes a huge difference to the enjoyment of home theater.

The Pro-Ribbon Immersive Experience has been a highlight of CEDIA Expo for the past five years. This year it featured an Alcons 9.x.6 sound system with a Sony VPL-VW5000ES 4K home theater projector, DreamScreen UltraWeave V6 screen, and StormAudio ISP 3D.32 Elite immersive processor.

With LCR screen channels of three Alcons CRMS mkll, four CRMSC-LFE18 as screen subs, a surround base level comprising six CRMSC-SRHV90 and a surround height level of six CRMSC-SRHV120 – all powered by six Sentinel10 amplified loudspeaker controllers – it won a new army of fans in the central US, earning praise throughout the show and social media.
